The typical Christmas shopping experience:
Traffic on your way to the local mall where you then spend the first half hour driving around the lot for available parking only to be gridlocked behind a minivan waiting to squeeze into a compact parking stall… and wait! You can’t throw it in reverse because the person behind you can’t move because the person behind them can’t back up either. So then you’re stuck circling around and around for another 10 minutes stalking, at 2 miles per hour, a family who had just left the mall –only to be deceived as they cross over into the next row over of parked cars!
Grr…
So, finally you find parking across the street from the mall where you then have to fight through the crowd of people and the millions of strollers. And isn’t it amazing how families manage to fit 3 kids into one stroller!
Finally you get to one store where the Clearance rack has been picked over and the other items on sale had been ransacked and now you’re forced to settle for, “Something like” whatever it was you were hoping to purchase. Then you have to stand in a line longer than a line for Michael Jackson’s concert to pay for it!
Then you’re forced back out into the walk-way, bottlenecked in a sea of people, shoulder to shoulder; walking down the mall while being beat continuously with big ol’ shopping bags full of boxed goods: Toys, Men’s shoes, boxes of candy… or, Heaven forbid– something long and sharp.
Ouch!
Christmas shopping SHOULDN’T be a hassle!
