Dogs of all sizes and shapes have always given me unconditional love and a devotion that is beyond words. All my life I have probably aggravated my ‘best friends’ by having their portraits taken, dressing them up in adorable outfits, and showing them off on holidays with appropriate costumes. I even went as far as taking my dogs to see Santa one year so I could have their photo taken with Jolly Ole St. Nick! I’ve always tried to return their love and adoration by making sure they have plenty of treats, goodies, bones, and an assortment of toys. Every Easter my dogs get baskets and at Christmas they have presents. I had such fun putting these baskets and gifts together that I decided I’d like to make these wonderful (and appreciated) baskets available to everyone – for every occasion. I’ve looked long and hard to find gift baskets of quality and at a reasonable price. These gift baskets are filled with only the finest products, the tastiest foods, and the most popular toys. Every product included in these baskets has been tried out on my own 3 finicky babies, and I guarantee, if they loved it – yours will love it too.
ABOUT MY OWN THREE PRECIOUS PUPS
I split my time between my home is Southern California and a vacation home I have in La Paz, Mexico on the Baja Peninsula. All three of my girls are rescue dogs from the streets of La Paz.
PEE WEE
At 1 day old, she was tucked deep in the pocket of a man selling vegetables out of the back of his truck in La Paz . I learned that the mother of this puppy had been killed and the vegetable man was looking for a home for her baby. I immediately took her and headed straight to the vet. He informed me that this baby had a 50/50 chance, and only if I was willing to do 2 hours feedings round the clock, keep her incubated, and give her constant care and attention. I had a few panic attacks, worrisome days and sleepiness nights, but today she is healthy, spoiled, and happy. She will be 3 years old in January.
SHADOW
The word quickly spread about Pee Wee and three weeks later a boy showed up at my door with a four week old puppy that needed a home. Well, I took one look at her adorable face and there was no way I could turn her away. It was a bother in the beginning trying to keep frisky and playful Shadow away from little PeeWee in her heated ‘puppy crib’, but today they are the best of friends and have a hard time when separated from each other.
TIGRESA
Tigresa means tigress in Spanish, and she got named for her brindle coat. Last December I was working at a charity event in La Paz , and a woman showed up with a box of rescue puppies. The pregnant mother of these puppies had been tightly chained to a fence with no food or water. This caring woman took the pregnant mother to her home where the puppies were born, but she neither had the means or the room to keep them. So, that is how I ended up with my third, and I hope my last puppy for awhile. She is a Whippet mix just full of vim and vigor. PeeWee and Shadow weren’t too excited to have another member join our family, but after eight months together, they have become a tight threesome.

Hello,
I would like to feature a unique Chihuahua calendar as part of your dog ( small breed) gift baskets for Holiday’08.
This calendar is truly unique and hilarious at the same time. I would be happy to send you one for your review, or you could look at the website mentioned above ( the site is 95% completed, just missing a few additional pictures of calendar months).
